Jackson Lewis is seeking a Summer Associate. The goal of our program is to acquaint our Summer Associates with the firm and its practice and to provide “real law experience” that will prove beneficial to their future professional careers. Summer Associates will be exposed to a broad range of practice areas and professional experiences – all in employment law.
This position can be located in any of our offices.
For Los Angeles, the expected salary range for this position is between $70 and $83 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
The responsibilities of the Summer Associate will include:
Responsibilities:
- Become familiar with the laws related to employment law
- Assist with research, case analysis and drafting letters
- Research memoranda and drafts/proposals for new legislation.
- Strong academic performance
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated interest in Employment Law
- Must be starting second or third year of law school.
